Square head and weird laugh - Jimmy Carr?

What I can watch time and again (off the top of my head): Only fools and horses, Friends, Red dwarf, Father Ted, the king of queens, 3rd rock from the sun was ok.

Only seen a couple of porridge episodes, and seen a few carry on films, and bless this house (a bit before my time).

Cannot abide Keith Lemon.Carry on is 99% crap.Mr Bean is v quickly tedious.I do enjoy Red Dwarf..Anything is possible in Sci Fi.The inbetweeners was hilarious at one time..but the humour of anything surely wears off after a few viewings...I watch Cheers weekday mornings before work...Leave the house having had a chuckle instead of ranting at BBC1 news and Naga small titties.

big bang .
on the buses
rising damp
family guy
porridge
two ronnies. pure genius
sure theres more

Blackadder.
Only Fools.
Porridge.
The Good Life.

Good, clean, harmless fayre.

Fawlty Towers is superb but, if you're not in the right frame of mind for it, can be painful (like "watching-through-your-fingers"-painful), if you get my drift.

Gavin and Stacey was pretty good.
Nighty Night (BBC3) was also excellent, imho.

Just seen BMF's post - Rising Damp; superb(y)

Lol...yes...On the buses...Still funny...and Nostalgic now..

I love nothing more than binge watching good quality TV. I was wondering what does the community enjoy watching in terms of comedy? Do people still find Black Adder funny or Mr. Bean? Does anybody like "The Big Bang Theory" and what about some golden oldies like "Porridge" or "Fawlty Towers" and the Carry on Films?

I could only watch the 'Carry On's' a couple of times, likewise Mr Bean, but I watched them all. Black Adder I never watched, never got 'into it', Fawlty I can repeatedly watch, I could cringe along with poor Basil and 'Only fools' - I recently binge watched that and found some I had missed first time around. Porridge I watched all of and the one in the 'corner shop', Though I still have lots of those to get through yet, especially the later David Jason ones.

I enjoyed the Good Life, but they don't seem to repeat it much now.

I don't like American comedy, British TV humour is much better and I don't really like stand up comedy - never found even Doddy that amusing. I somtimes enjoy the 'You've been framed' things with the Dr (?), especially the kids and animal videos.

I used to be an avid cartoon watcher, but not now.

I'm surprised the more sopphisiatiacated members have not mentioned teletubbies, keeps most 3 year olds entertained for hours
