Running water supply pipe for outdoor kitchen

Hi folks,

I want to run supply pipe to an outdoor kitchen sink.

There is already an outside tap about 6 yards from there the sink would be, supplied from inside via a double check valve and isolater to turn the outdoor segment off during winter. My plan is to take a spur off this, into 20mm MDPE and just run it along the ground under the deck to where the outdoor sink will be. It'll then go back into 15mm speedfit pipe and into a regular kitchen tap.

Because it will be turned off over winter, I was not planning to insulate any part of the pipe run.

Has anyone done a similar project? Any pitfalls or anything to watch out for?

Turning OFF is not enough, you need to drain the pipe as well. Water left in the pipe could freeze and burst the pipe and/or any fittings such a a taps.
