Vinty suggests that EU is the biggest threat to democracy:

:LOL::LOL:
But in the kind of democracy that Vinty supports, (which appears to be to resort to violence) I'm not allowed to discuss this issue with him.
:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
Is or should freedom of speech depend on your politic persuasion?

I think Vinty has been listening to the NI Unionists, when they said that politics may not solve the NI Protocol
Arlene Foster says the government must now ditch the protocol because temporary measures will not work...
But the unionist parties believe politics alone may not be enough.

Sorry, Vinty. There's no point in you addressing my comments, I'm not allowed to discuss this issue with you.
:rolleyes:

What's your point?
Take your pick:
  1. When someone can threaten violence and war to destroy a democracy with which they disagree, clearly they don't understand democracy.
  2. When unionists threaten that an international agreement with which they disagree could be ignored or overturned by something other than political means, and some willingly go along with such ideas, then evidently, democracy is threatened by them, not by a democratic organisation like the EU.
  3. Vinty's reference was to EU being the biggest threat to democracy, but clearly when someone is not allowed to counter his nonsensical and dangerous comments, there are other threats.

That is probably because you don't take the issue seriously.
But I do.
Please explain how you think that the EU is the biggest threat to democracy since Hitler.
Perhaps you could compare it to the division created by the Brexit referendum?
Or maybe BJs attempt to illegally prorogue Parliament?
Or the 'other than political means' that Unionists are considering?
Or maybe the corruption of Matt Hancock dishing out multi-million pound contracts to his mates and avoiding proper scrutiny.
Or how about an illegal invasion of a Middle Easter country?
Or perhaps the apartheid that Dangee so desires?

The EU could turn out even worse than Hitler.
It has shown a worrying disrespect for the sovereignty of other nations.
N. I. is supposed to have left the EU yet a British minister has to go to Brussels to ask permission to send goods from one part of the UK to another and you claim that this is democracy in action.

Division was caused by a remainer Parliament refusing to accept the result of a democratic referendum.

Division was caused by a bunch of Tories unable to agree what they wanted, and therefore unable to get the country to agree to it

and still haven't.

EU still dominated by Germany with France the Lackies.
