Democracy? What kind of democracy is this?

I didn't say that referendums should be ignored, they are useful for gauging public opinion.
They can and should be used to influence policy and legislation. But there's no obligation to allow them to either influence nor decide those policies and legislation
If the above is true, what is the fekkin point of having a referendum in the first place.

We have moved on from Remain and Leave.

For NI, the question now is how best to survive the Brexit catastrophe.

Obviously, you can't expect the Johnson government to help you.

Perhaps reunification of Ireland will be the answer.

like Brexit, and the subsequent break-up of the UK, you mean.

no worse

if brexit can be a reason or used as an excuse for Scotland to gain
Independence than good I say
The sooner the better

Scots want independance than they should have it

Shetland’s want independance from Scotland ??
Than they should have it

same with Catalonia Spain should give em a referendum as well

You obviously don't understand the Belfast agreement either
The EU was not a signatory to the BA but they have used it in their proxy war against the UK.
The N.I. Protocol is the product of the threat of violence, not by Unionists or the British government but by the Irish Government and the EU.
It was the Irish prime minister who handed photographs of bombed customs posts to EU negotiators telling them that this is what will happen if the British carried out customs checks on the N. I. border.
Propaganda and intimidation at its crudest, yet some on here have the cheek to accuse Unionists of making threats just because the have the temerity to complain about being treated as second class citizens in their own country.
Total boll ox of course

For 'proxy war' read holding to the terms agreed...

Your paranoia/hatred of the EU is towards the extreme end of the scale!

But then brexiteers always blame everyone/anyone else for their stupidity!

But don't worry...

Give it a decade or so, and N.I. hopefully will no longer be of any concern of what remains of the UK (y)

I can guarantee that there is no majority for remain in N. I. anymore.
Indeed...

Latest polls show that a minority of N.I. voters back remaining in the UK whilst a majority want a border poll within five years.

I know I am abusive.
Many of us are from time to time.
But usually only when provoked by the likes of you, transam, etc.
But at least many of us make an attempt to contribute to the debate.
Whereas you, transam, trazor, etc have made absolutely no attempt to contribute to the debate, merely tried your finest to disrupt it.

Ok..Mr Verbose.

DUP did not agree with the Good Friday Agreement either, that's why they don't give a gnats knacker about it, and would be content to see it disappear.

but they have used it in their proxy war against the UK.
There isn't a war, don't be so daft.

Can you enlighten us to when this threat of violence occurred?

You saw this and overheard him?

Propaganda and intimidation at its crudest,
Fantasy of yours at its outermost limit.

You are the one that claimed that EU would be forced out of NI, by some means or another, and keep referring to violence, graves, etc.

The majority don't want this N. I. Protocol either.
You're probably right about that. Have you complained to BJ instead of blaming the EU for it. The EU didn't impose it. It was what BJ agreed to in order to invoke his version of Brexit.
May's version would not have required a NI Protocol.
