For clarity, my comment relating to vaccine development funding was intended to refer to the AZ vaccine, not the others.
For clarity, AZ received £65.5 million from UK government.
Oxford University has received £65.5m of funding from the Vaccines Taskforce,
https://news.sky.com/story/covid-19-the-multi-billion-pound-business-of-the-oxford-vaccine-12134833
A mere fraction (less than 1/10th) of the cost of development (£8.19 Billion)
While EU paid:
The European Commission has made a 336 million euro ($396 million) downpayment to British drug maker AstraZeneca AZN.L to secure at least 300 million doses of its potential COVID-19 vaccine

So let's stop this this silly argument that UK government paid for the AZ vaccine.

Who funded them and put their orders in first?

AZ did not receive the £65.5m funding from the government, Oxford University did. That money was used to develop the vaccine and work out how to productionise it. AZ then bought the rights to the vaccine from a company set up by Oxford University and the specialists that developed the vaccine.

Other countries have put in money to the manufacturing facilities, but not the original development. Other countries paid in advance for doses, but again, that is not the development cost. It is the production cost.

If you going to accuse other people of making up silly ideas, it makes you look a bit silly when you've got your facts and numbers wrong.

I have no idea where you got the £8.19 Billion from, that is not the development cost.

Once all this is over anyone fancy chipping in for dinghy so we can ferry (in of course a perfectly acceptable way) the likes of ellal and her gang nosey snitch etc over the pond to Bobby Davros home where they can live together in harmony and EU bliss.
And of course troll each other to fk.

Personally I'd happily chip in to send the CC crew on a 'pleasure cruise'...

And pull out the stop cock mid ocean!

And they all benefit from the profits. Additionally the greater part of the work was done prior to the pandemic emerging.
Interesting also, that the AZ development cost at least four times the cost of the other vaccines.

Have you got any facts to support your opinion. Or are you just inventing things to support your argument?

If you going to accuse other people of making up silly ideas, it makes you look a bit silly when you've got your facts and numbers wrong.
If you going to accuse others of inventing things, then invent things in an attempt to prove your point, it'll make you look a lot sillier.

What do you think it was for?
No doubt you'll invent something else to justify your opinion. Maybe, it was the construction of the staff canteen.

Where have you got that figure from. You're basing your whole argument on what i think is a number that doesn't relate to the development cost.

I've shown you where the figure came from. Now what do you think the number relates to? Make up something: coffee machines, staff car parking, pension payments?

Can you explain why the AZ vaccine cost at least four times the cost of the others, if most of the work had already been done?

Actually, having read back up the thread, you have shown me where that figure comes from. I just don't believe the numbers are correct.

It makes no sense the AZ vaccine cost 4 times as much to develop, even if that that figure includes the original cost of developing the deactivated chimpanzee virus that is made to look like corona virus that was originally developed as a Ebola vaccine.

Is it true we're paying Astra £3.00 a pop and the EU are paying £1.53 a pop?
