Conservatory suspended ceiling advice

Hi all, I'm thinking of creating a false ceiling in our conservatory because my partner will be using it for her dog grooming business. It doesn't need to look pretty, just do a job. I plan on putting 4x2's across the 3m span.

I will then clad the ceiling with some upvc - either hollow t&g or plain panels.

However I'm a bit stuck on the insulation. I'm thinking of either going for multifoil insulation or PIR boards. Will put a vapour barrier on the room side as well before the cladding.

A concern I have is that the roof void will be become dangerously hot in the summer. Will the foil backed PIR or multifoil help reflect the heat away?

I know this isn't standard, and I'm not expecting miraculous results.

I've posted quite a few times in the past about and had no replies so would really appreciate some help!

What’s the roof made of? Glass will be ok but experimented with black insulation below a plastic roof and extra heat melted the roof panels .Maybe used rock wool as it’s not reflective.

Hi, thanks for the reply. The roof is polycarbonate, approx 15years old. Would a foil like superquilt work help in that it can reflect the suns heat/rays?
