Dripping kitchen mixer tap

Morning guy's, got this dripping tap & it's driving the wife mad. Is it an easy fix? Not sure what make it is either.

Turn both the hot and cold water off, remove the both tap insert cartridges from the taps and leave them in a dish of citric acid solution to soak. Whilst soaking, work the taps back and forth a few times. Citric acid is available from Wilko and many other places, quite cheaply.

Maybe obvious but I know of two people who turned the taps OFF and dismantled the taps.

I have now identified the tap, it's a Lamona roya one. I have also found instructions to take it apart. If the citric acid doesn't work apart from replacing the cartridge, is there anything else I should buy. Like washers etc.

It's only 4 years old, but am I likely to have difficulty taking it apart. Cheers Doug

It is usually just the build up between the faces of the ceramic, which allows the leakage. Once that is dissolved by the acid, it should seal again - no washers involved. If that doesn't do it, then the only fix is complete new ceramic cartridges.
