How much chasing can I fill with a 25kg bag of bonding.

I will be filling the chases after an upcoming rewire in my home and I've bought a 25kg bag of Bonding 60 and a 10kg bag of Easifill.

Could anyone give me a rough estimate as to how many meters of chasing I might fill with the bonding?

I understand that this depends on the chasing but just looking for a rough idea. I'm in a two-bed terrace and there will be 30+ chases of various lengths.

Get graph paper and draw the length and width of each chase in a vertical line.

Say each small square is 10cm.

Once all the chasing lines have been drawn on the paper you should end up with a square/rectangle, find out the mean depth then calculate the area covered.

Usually non the bag it tells you how many square meters the bag covers.

We don't know the details of each chase (length, width depth) so can't really help much more than that.

Ive just filled in a rewired house 36 chases and two bags was not enough. That said I went a bit overboard with the cuts , but it does use more than you'd think. Rather get one more bag of hardwall theyre not that expensive.

I'm doing the same job, which bonding did you use? Trying to use the same stuff on the breeze blocks

Another bag of bonding plaster won't break the bank and you'd be peed off running out halfway through the job..

Just buy several bags from one of the sheds, you can return unused ones within 30 days

I'm using bonding 60 and easifill 60. I've no clue whether or not it's suitable for breeze blocks. If there is a risk of moisture coming through it might not be suitable as it can absorb it.

If it's an exterior wall with a risk of damp then a lime based bonding is recommended. But keep in mind that I'm just parroting what I've heard on youtube videos and have no expertise myself
