When I was on new build, I used to regularly work with an Armenian decorator, great bloke. They are strictly Christians. He absolutely hated Turks, because of what they did. I knew nothing about it at the time.
Joe Biden maybe couldn't find Armenia on a map if he tried.
Could be he is trying to curry favour with some lobby group who donate to his party.
Jimmy Carter was the same.
At a holocaust memorial event Carter said he was dedicating the event to the 11 million victims of the holocaust.
When asked why 11 million and not 6 million, he said he was advised by Elie Wiesel the well known "Nazi hunter" that 5 million non jews should be included to generate wider public interest in the Holocaust.
Its this sort of rewriting of history that fuels
scepticism about these alleged historical events like the Armenian genocide.
Seems like a race issue to me. Where are all the white middle-class do-gooders when you need a token protest? Or the people of colour for a ALM solidarity movement?
Nah, not as important as one random bloke in Minneapolis getting killed.

Perhaps if any of them had been alive in the 1915 to 1917 era, and the internet was available to inform them, and help them to organise a protest, they may have ben very concerned, assuming they weren't stuck in care homes, and they could still amble along.
