One of the wheels of my bed is hanging off, i can't see any thread. Any ideas on how to secure it?

Thanks;

This is where the thread (?) is meant to be?

The castor is made in two parts.

The rotating spindle of the lower part pushes into the grey thimble.

The grey thimble is a push fit, not a screw fit, into a hole drilled in the bottom of the bed.

The thimble has come out. Perhaps the hole is loose, or the wooden frame is cracked.

Examine the bottom of the bed frame to see what is wrong with it.

It's the hole I presume. The hole is now bigger than what it should be.

What if i put the grey thimble in the hole using strong wood glue and let it set?

A glue which bonds well to both plastic and wood would do, or you could try just wrapping a few turns of tape around the thimble to make it a tighter fit in the hole.

Thanks mate, what type of tape though? Plumber's tape?

Jeff, I think you are the one who needs to look at the Dreams website, that bed is a few years old. Time for an upgrade.
