Half of one son's school is now off, most classes either half empty or whole class in isolation.
Other school has entire year groups isolating.
Cases up, deaths up ....

and we're 10 days from THE SUMMER OF CHAOS!!!.

My wife teaches the piano in schools -one place has had at least one year group or bubble off every weeek for the last few

and she teaches at an after school music centre -which emailed last night to say theve got so many children isolating theyve decided to shut for the rest of the term.

My one regret I can't play any musical instrument. Trying to get my kids into playing something.

Luck of the draw unfortunately. My son's school, which is based just outside of Leicester (ie a high risk area) has not had a single case amongst the pupils for the duration of the whole Covid nightmare.

You don't need to have covid, just say you have symptoms and the schools (and other places) go into meltdown.

Really? I'd have thought you'd have to have a positive test before the school started keeping class bubbles at home.

Same with a lot of work places, if you have SYMPTOMS, isolate.
I get the individual isolating if you have symptoms, but not the whole bubble isolating until there is a positive test.

That's exactly how it works. A child with symptoms is separated from the rest of the class and collected by their parent. The child gets a test and if it is positive the whole class bubble isolates, if the symptomatic child tests negative they can return to school when their symptoms end and the remainder of the class continue in school.

Just an excuse for the teachers to go on the pis$.
Somehow nobody ever knows who was tested positive, never.
Data protection apparently.
So the headpisstaker can make up any positive test without scrutiny.
They will rot in hell!
