I’d be grateful for any advice on the following:

What is going on with this lower course of brickwork.

60s Det Bungalow with concrete pathway. The path has started to crack and sink, could it have taken the lower course of brickwork with it? If so, what has become of the foundations? Its happening to approx. 2 - 3 metres of one wall to the rear corner.

Also, should there be any damp course?

Brick outer, block inner from looking through the airbrick, but cannot see any sign of damp course around any of the outside walls.

Is that your DPC? If so, movement like that is common and it's the wall above the DPC that moves

Woody

There is no DPC where the mortar is falling out, or in any of the lower brickwork around the whole property. Also, what is going on with the course of bricks below: they're not bonded on the brick ends and are aligned in a stack bond?

The path starting to sink and the proximity of the rainwater pipe would lead me to look for an ongoing long term leak in the drainage. Just saying :)

Absolutely. This forms part of an ongoing discussion on another forum. It makes logical sense.
