I've a few sets of heavy duty outdoor lights, the sort where it's proper cable with E27 fittings rather than dinky fairy lights.

They all allow you to chain them together using 2 pin weatherproof screw plugs but tend to use slightly different fittings each time I buy some, I can't find any specifications on them.
But I can't believe every company invents their own bespoke fitting when it's far cheaper to use something the Chinese factories already have.

Is there any standardisation or naming system for this? Here's a typical example... https://amazon.co.uk/dp/B093F6WK4X

I'd like to consider rewiring all my sets to standardise so I can make my own extensions, splitters, etc. I can surely buy these parts?

Regular mains, it's like an extension lead cable with bulbs on. They are designed for LED bulbs... I don't know maximum load but they claim you can chain anywhere from 3-12 sets so we could be 200-500W total.
