But we're told to 'save the planet'. Is that yet another lie?

As for the occupants of the planet, all the evidence points to rapid population growth. This is the real danger, but few are honest enough to admit or highlight it. So if the population is rapidly rising, it looks like the habitat is suitable for current occupants and they're positively thriving in it. Also we're all living a lot longer than several generations ago - so once again the current occupants are thriving in their habitat.
