swimming records

Team mates at the university of Pennsylvanian swimmer lia Thomas have expressed concerns at sharing the same changing room with her (?)

the coach of the woman’s swimming team said there is nowt they can do about it

or it would amount to discrimination

 :ROFLMAO:

This is the farcical state we've got ourselves into as a society. Someone, born physically as a man (note I'm NOT referring to what's going on mentally) decides to change gender. They're a professional swimmer. So they're now allowed to participate in female swimming events. Ok, so as part of their transition they take meds etc to reduce their manliness, however are we seriously saying all their male attributes are gone, especially around physical capability?

Result? They start posting amazing times and many female competitors (who were born female) will never in a month of Sunday's be able to compete with them. Yes the very top tier might give them a run for their money, but many won't have a chance, no matter how hard they train etc. A bit like going up against someone who's using illegal substances.

What's even more farcical is, if you try to question this, you get labelled an 'ist' and are shut down by many quarters of society.

We're getting ourselves into a right tangle around all of this, trans women attacking from birth women in prison etc etc.

Why not create a trans level in athletics? Oh no, we can't do that, that's against their human rights. Solution? Let's shoe-horn them into from birth male and female events. Yeah, great solution ...

If and when I see something disgusting I will say it. Why mums net as that is mainly for women.

Well, according to this excerpt from another one of your posts, you have a husband. Therefore, unless you are gay or trans yourself, then you must be a woman. In which case, Mumsnet is exactly the place for you.

We went to India about 10/12 years ago on a touring trip. Coaches were almost brand new and drivers very careful bar one.
That driver drove dangerously and my husband had a quiet word with him and his assitance they laughed it off
and then someone else had a word and the lol and told them "its normal" - then my husband had enough of it
and told the driver to pull over and driver eventually did and my husband warded him that he'd kick his teeth into the back of his neck
if he drives anything close to that and when my husband finished saying what he wanted to say he let go of the driver's neck. Did the trick.
