Oh, chuffin deary me.

Having failed to grasp the current situation in certain parts of Europe, the experts here on Diynot are going to have an even harder time when Taiwan kicks off.

the problem with a red line is that an expansionist aggressor like Hitler or Putin will push right up to it, then just a bit more, then a bit more, then a lot more.

Invade Eastern Ukraine, but with no badges on your uniforms? OK

Shoot down a civillian aircraft with surface to air system? Well, er, they deny it, and they have possession of all the evidence, and anyway, what can we do?

Invade Crimea? Shouldn't really, but do nothing

Invade north, East and south Ukraine with huge conventional forces? Apply economic sanctions, but don't get involved in the war.

Bomb cities? Tut disapprovingly, refuse to get involved.

Tactical nuclear weapons? Well, er, maybe if they're only little, and only used inside Ukraine....

Wipe out a city and destroy the government? Er, well, shouldn't have done that, but it's too late now.

Hypothetical - if Pootn invades Finland with the same "Worst possible outcomes if you interfere" rhetoric, what would NATO do?
My guess is that someone would tell him he's not the messiah, he's a very naughty boy.

It was detected, NATO were tracking it, and yes, it is possible it was Ukranian, it should have been intercepted regardless of it's origin.
A drone crash in Croatia which is believed to have come from the nearby war in Ukraine is being described as "a serious incident" by the Balkan country's president Zoran Milanovic. The Soviet-era Tu-141 "Strizh" reconnaissance drone, likely operated by Ukraine's military (given as the Associated Press noted that it's the only known country currently operating Tu-141 drones) crashed just outside the capital city of Zagreb on Thursday.

Milanovic questioned "how a relatively unsophisticated drone flew for over an hour over NATO countries without being detected" - indeed it appears it flew across Hungary, possibly Romania, and over much of Croatia.
Croation and Hungarian authorities are investigating the crash. NATO HQ in Brussels is also said to be part of the investigation into the crash.

but, to be fair, far from the only country with hundreds of them tucked away in warehouses.

I think we'll have to accept there are various versions of this story.

Croatia criticizes NATO after crash of Russian-made drone - ABC News (go.com)

NATO said the alliance’s integrated air and missile defense had tracked the object’s flight path. But the Croatian prime minister said the country’s authorities were not informed and that NATO reacted only after question were posed by journalists.

“We cannot tolerate this situation, nor should it have ever happened,” Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic said while visiting the crash site.

“This was a pure and clear threat and both NATO and the EU should have reacted," he said. "We will work to raise the readiness not only of us but of others as well. ”

Like I said before, its no good answering a made-up question of your own or calling me names.
About calling me silly names, I accept that you have stopped doing that
However, you have not answered the question but for reasons, we all know you run a mile from it.

Anyways, I was right hence your inability to answer the question as raised about the inaccurate point you stated re NATO.

it has been answered, you haven’t provided a counter argument.

a bit like when you claimed the Ukrainians had banned Russian language - which is wrong
