Why all the fuss about Rishi's wife?

I wonder where fillygone picked up the red herring about dual nationality?

circulated by Sunak supporters as an attempted diversion.

It has nothing to do with non-dom.

Well, as the initiator of this thread, I think my question has been answered looking at some of the posts. Three reasons for the fuss as far as I can tell. Hate of the Tories, jealousy and racism.

a popular, made up story, mostly circulated by tax-dodgers and their supporters.

Crawl into a corner & choke while you eat the pages of your copy of 'Das Kapital'.

We created the need for the factory, we built the factory. We risked EVERYTHING we had to do that.

You shift the boxes inside the factory. You risked NOTHING & still you think you own the factory.

I don't think you hate the rich JohnD'ski, I don't think you hate wealth & I don't think you even hate success.

I think you hate yourself for being none of these.

what does Das Kapital say about tax-dodging?

what have you got against publicly-funded street lamps, roads, fire engines and health service?

who do you think pays for them?

Can you STOP this fixation of yours on "tax-dodging". It is unhealthy.

Could you possibly adjust your mental state of health to accommodate the principle that most of the BIG earners out there are doing it to generate wealth for themselves, their families & their nearest & dearest.

Is it possible for you to understand that my original motivation to earn lots of money was to buy a nice house for 'me mam'?

When that was done, I moved onto the next goal, a nice life for my wife.

When my kids came along, F'me, there was no stopping me.

In my world JohnD'ski, YOU are the tax dodger. I have no knowledge of your work career history, but I suspect that you have failed to create wealth & pee in the pot that pays out the benefits to the workshy.

Even the successful but not extremely wealthy avoid tax where possible.

I pay a significant chunk of my earnings into my pension to avoid paying extortionate rates of tax. If tax rates were lower, i'd pay less into my pension and the total amount of tax i pay would be higher.

Is that selfish? Does that make me a tax dodger? Or is it just sensible to optimise your own income within the rules?

obviously

hence your tirade of nonsense.

I likes to place a few "quotable" snippets in my words, just so the likes of you can "quote" them.

You have just proven to the internets that you are a failure.

Being 'hated' for my success is something that I have often experienced & given much thought to.

I have never thought that I was better than anyone. This is possibly one of the secrets of my success.

I have always thought that the "haters" are the one's with a problem.

You're a failure JohnD'ski aren't you. Can you appreciate that nobody other than yourself considers you a failure.

You can only fail within your own mind.

you say you have often been hated.

I think I will not speculate on the reasons for this.

LOL More from BBC, this time it's her fathers business.

Tax dodgers. The rest need to pay more to keep the country running. The load often falls on middle earners.

I used to own a £240.000 Overfinch Strange Rover. I got rid of it within days & I would add that it wasn't my personal choice of car. I cannot possibly convey to the internets the level of HATE that such a vehicle attracts.

Why do £240,000 Strange Rovers attract such HATE?

Because the type of scum that scrapes the paint & smashes the lights of a vehicle that defines success, are the type of scum who failed in life.

Am I right? I don't know, because they are too cowardly to hang around & debate the subject.

Add xenophobia to that list.

I see the concept of fair taxation is alien to mottie.
