Born, raised, lived and worked in Liverpool for about 56 years. Even as a kid I dreamed of winning the football pools and living in the country.
Never won the pools, or the lottery, but eventually moved to the countryside and will never live in a city again. Although our address is the village we live on the outskirts of it. We are at the end of a short row of semi cottages with a field next to our back garden and rolling fields across the road. Lovely at all times of the year, from being snowed in during bad winters, seeing everything blooming during spring, growing and harvesting the crops through summer to the beautiful range of changing colours during autumn. The pace of life is also much slower than in a city.
