Hi,

I have moved into a property that has a Hive System (just the basic one for a combi i.e central heating only and not water )installed and I want to switch it for my Nest 3rd Gen.

Presumably N to N,
L to L
The earth seems to be hanging there, so I will need to check the other end of the earth is connected to an earth. (Either to the metal casing/mount, or into boiler earth connection).

Does the 3 on the Hive go to the 3 on the nest
The 1 on the Hive goes to the 2 on the nest

Anything else I need to do?

It’s a combi boiler, hot water side not required.
