We moved house recently to a mid 1960s bungalow, and have inherited an 82mm soil system. Never seen this before, our previous four houses all having four inch/ 110mm systems. The soil pipe is plastic and in a pretty parlous state, with the many layers of paint flaking away in chunks. I don't intend to go below ground and change to the 110mm pipework, but instead replace the old pipe with new 82mm, connecting the new pipe just above ground.

I've looked online and presumably because of its limited availability, the 82mm system seems to be quite expensive. Could someone please recommend a supplier who charges reasonable prices for this stuff? Thanks in advance.

If you really want to stick with 82mm find a local plumbers merchant that stocks polypipe full range of fittings available.
No worries, my question on this forum is only one feature of the search. ;)
