Investigation into whether BJ misled Parliament is fundamentally flawed says QC

You seem to be missing the point, or ignoring it based on your bias and prejudice.

The issue is that a Parliamentary panel, at a centre of 'democracy/ justice/ fairness etc' which should be carrying out an impartial investigation of a Government Minister, has already determined the outcome and the penalties to be imposed.
Parliament doesn't operate as a court of law. Pretending it is is just stupid. It doesn't have to and expecting it to do so is a bit late in the game.

How much did Begum's legal challenges cost us?

How much do we waste paying for every illegal migrants desperate challenged against deportation?
About a squillianth of what it costs to cover just ONE of Bozzas failed apps. There are loads of Tory chum PPE supply rip-offs. Want to see the list?

You're still purposely forgetting that Parliamentary Enquiries should not only be fair, but be seen to be fair. Especially in "The mother of all Parliaments".

Whilst law is based on equity, equity and law are distinct concepts. Enquiries and investigations are not law, but the principles of non biased fair treatment with no predetermined outcome is fundamental.

Check your prejudices and think about it.

****ing hypocrisy given you opened that door pretty hard earlier.
Notch needs to be kept on a lease, else he'll post 15 sides of A4 "what about this, whst about that" as part of another tedious Brexit rant.

You mean like when Bozza attempted to change the rules and besmirch those in charge of enforcing the rules rather than see a fellow corrupt MP (Owen Paterson) face justice?

Sure, seen to be fair is true. But we aren't going to have another legal investigation, there was no (additional) crime this time. He was already found guilty. This is a workplace investigation to see if he committed a gross misconduct when he mislead the house. That needs to be run according to the rules in place. Why does he think he's special?

The Opinion has nothing to do with it and offers nothing new, except that Boris has wanted £129,000 of taxpayer money to give himself some headlines in sympathetic newspapers.

At the least he should be being taxed for this as a benefit in kind.

Woody is upset because I pointed out his blatant whataboutery.
