Anybody able to advise what type of brick this may be, and what the best new brick option is for matching it. Struggling to find reclaimed bricks of the same type. Late 1960s house in the Manchester area.

Back in the 60's a lot of the houses were going up with Flettons. You won't find many in the reclaim yards, as they don't clean up too well.
They look a bit like the old Heathers, or possibly Chilterns. Hard to be sure from a photo.

They have the texture of pinhole and the colour of say an LBC Chiltern or Heather. Tough one. Probably try and source some 73mm Chilterns but they will be expensive.
Carlton heather sandfaced 73mm look similar, available from Beesley and Fildes, it will be hard to get an exact match as your bricks will be well weathered.
