When was the last time you visited the capital of your country?

Around 23 years, and only then - because I was paid to go there. Voluntarily visit, no thank you.

If I won the Euromillions (multiple rollover)...............

A bit ostentatious; there's less grand ones too, which would suit me better

Used to go regularly to London in an old job when we were refitting and opening lots of new stores around there. Was always very happy to join the M1 at Brent's Cross and head back home!! Two days blowing my nose into a soot-coloured tissue afterwards...

Never used the tube when I was down there. Used to park at the hotel (or get the train down) then just walk to my destination, sometimes up to seven or eight miles. Saw loads on the way!

For the cost of three months mortgage, £127,639pm, you could get a decent house almost anywhere else in the country.

Further down the page from that one, was a less grand one, for £11m.

£1m down, and £67k p.m. mortgage.

Staggering...........

London - Penge Croydon. Outer London ? last time 1987 ;) .1.1/2 hour drive - won't be going again . Unless I take a HS2 for a Laugh to see what t'North looks like.

It’s not so bad really. I regularly travel National Rail from Upminster to Fenchurch street, walk to Tower Hill and get a tube to West London for work. We keep meaning to have a day out 'up London' and make like a tourist. It is after all one of the top capital cities for tourists to visit - there is so much to see.

London, I visit, for various reasons, around every 2 months.

Great place to visit, even better to leave it though. Wouldn't want to live there personally.

Last time I was in London was for a Brexit related conference a few years ago. Got held up by some terror attack near Parliament.

Was so pleased to get back home.
