Used to go regularly to London in an old job when we were refitting and opening lots of new stores around there. Was always very happy to join the M1 at Brent's Cross and head back home!! Two days blowing my nose into a soot-coloured tissue afterwards...

Never used the tube when I was down there. Used to park at the hotel (or get the train down) then just walk to my destination, sometimes up to seven or eight miles. Saw loads on the way!

It’s not so bad really. I regularly travel National Rail from Upminster to Fenchurch street, walk to Tower Hill and get a tube to West London for work. We keep meaning to have a day out 'up London' and make like a tourist. It is after all one of the top capital cities for tourists to visit - there is so much to see.

Great place to visit, even better to leave it though. Wouldn't want to live there personally.
