Kitchen sink has started making this weird noise today. It's not being used. Any ideas?

Please move the boxes etc., and provide a better photo of the layout of the pipe work.
I'd say that's more likely coming from the mains water, put you hand on the water pipe and see if you can feel it vibrate when it makes the noise.
