Reolink Video Doorbell

Hi, I was thinking about buying a Reolink Video Doorbell.

I dont have an excisting doorbell installed BTW.

I think I see two versions, a POE and wifi one.

I know nothing about them, any advice please.

a hard wired connection is the way to go if you can.

unless battery operated the doorbells still need power if using wifi so you stil have a hole to the outside and a cable running through it.

The rest is pretty dependant on the spec of the units.

Thanks secureiam, yes, hard wire would be best. I could drill a small hole to get the power to the bell and hope the wifi will be good enough, the router is in the hall, cl.ose to the bell.
