A woman could easily bring an equality discrimination case against a hospital conforming to these requirements. It will cost them a lot more than the wasted £220K if people started doing that.
I don't think it's against the discrimination laws to refer to a parent as a parent.

Maybe motorbiking thinks that government funded services, like the NHS, should practise a bit, or a lot, of discrimination.
Typical Mail reader!
The problem is when people try to change language. I don’t identify as cisgender and I know lots of women who don’t want to share loos or hospital wards with biological males.

I have no problem with consenting adults doing what they like to themselves, but I don’t need to be asked about my pro-nouns or identity.

Are there any? You said a case could be brought easily, I presume the mail wouldn't be the evidence.
Those are two different things

1. The equalities act protects real women too.
2. The criterial for a gold star under the scheme should not interfere with people’s right not to have anything to do with it.

If you have to both treat people how they want to be treated and use non gender language in medical documents, then you are going to have a lot of work.

Plenty of real women (so called TERFS by the radical trans lobby) don’t want to be adopt so called trans appropriate language. You may also be surprised that plenty of trans people are very respectful of real women’s rights and want nothing to do with the nonsense and fear the I’ll feeling towards them.

Asked all the time why they aren’t on my signature /linked in etc.

OK you must be busy answering all the questions then.

I've never been asked. Hospital, doctor, dentist, clubs, suppliers, shops, general public. Nowhere.

Just asked the 5 people around me and all negative too.

It's not an imaginary issue is it ?

It was quite an OP.

PC gone mad, now we have a Rainbow Badge ESG-like scoring system to remove trans-offensive words like "mother" from hospital language.

Now it all hinges on the Daily Mail.
