many years ago a friends mum was bitten on her hand by their old and manky looking toy poodle called claude. She died a week later due to an infection from that bite. Any dog that bites should be euthanised.

Cars are not, because they have an overriding primary function, that is not to threaten, maim, or kill.

I get that but if we are going to legislate/ban everything that may be harmful I don't know where we'd stop.

ALL MOTORISTS VEHICLES ARE SAFE.
It is the presence of drivers that makes some not so.

Humans must be in charge of their vehicles or their dogs at all times.

A very small dog would be able to kill a defenceless baby but not much else

Dogs are allowed to co-exist/harass people on said pavements...
