Dogs don’t have to be big or strong to kill , a Jack Russell has ability to kill small child , fragile adult and have done in the past .

Not on the end of a size ten, it won't.

The issue in your example though isn't the dog: it's leaving a "small child" in the company of any dog, unattended.




Drop-kicking a ten stone XL over a fence is not an option.

About 35 years ago, the plumber that installed central heating in our house had his 6 week old baby killed by his Jack Russell.

Its down to sensible ownership. How does sensible ownership tie in with dogs bred for aggression.

I know a jack russell that had half its scalp ripped off by a greyhound, the defence was that the jack russell acted aggressively as if about to attack. Maybe dogs are like humans.
