Fit Belfast sink 'lengthways'?

is there any reason a Belfast cannot be fit 'lengthways', i.e. with the widest part of the sink running back towards the wall, and the narrow end being visible:

Are they made with a natural fall in the base?

No mechanical reason.
But might be an ergonomic issue.
Belfast sinks tend to be deep.
If it is too narrow, can you comfortably get both arms and hand into the sink to say hold a plate with one hand and wash it with the other?.

You might have to try it with say two piles of books that match internal dimensions of your sink.

thanks for the helpful comments. this one is circa 200mm deep. part of the reason we're looking at a smaller sink is to fit a dishwasher in so hopefully i'll have less washing up to do...

The picture's not realistic, you need to draw a load of black mould and swollen cracks on the wood round the edges of it.
