Hello everyone.

I have a radial circuit that feeds an UFH matt and heated towel rail via 2 fused spurs. I have done away with the UFH and want to replace with a small electric radiator (330w nominal power / 125w effective power).

I believe I am OK to connect the rad via the feed previously used for the UFH. Is there any reason this wouldn't be the case?

Also the rad is fitted with a 13a plug. Is there any reason I can't change the fused spurs to a socket outlet specifically for use of the radiator.

I plan to clearly label the socket identifying it as being on the 16amp radial.

There is no reason you can't do that.

You may change the "Fused Connector Unit" for a socket which may be used for any usual appliance.

No need.

Nothing in the bathroom. The spur used to feed the UFH for the bathroom but was located in the hallway. The spur/socket/rad are all located in the hallway.

In that case, fine, but might be worthwhile, just letting us know the size of the cable, and the MCB which feeds it.

Note - there is nothing to prevent you having a 13amp socket, supplied from even a 6amp MCB circuit.

Tha ks everyone. Thought it was ok but wanted to check.

16amp MCB. Wired in 2.5mm T/E
