Hi has anyone wire a hive mini to a Vokera easi heat 29 or is this not compatible ?

Any information on this would be great thanks

yes you can do it but certainly not straightforward and if you get it wrong new PCB time, do you have a small timer built into the Easi-heat ? you can only use the Hive mini single channel, you can not use the dual channel

Is this any help

post a pic of the front of that manual if that is definately the manual that came with your boiler, there are a few easi heats

Yes this in the correct manual as av not long had the boiler fitted. A was thinking if a ran a cables to x11 terminal from the hive receiver it would work ?

OK for future reference you have an Easi Heat i29C it is very important you quote the correct model when asking for advice they all wire differently the 29C is very different.
You need to supply a L&N to the hive mini receiver, this can come from either the L&N on the boiler or straight from the outlet on the same fused spur that feeds the boiler, terminals 1&3 go to the boiler terminals TA at terminal X11 at the boiler, you will have to remove the existing link
DO NOT make any links that you may see in other posts

Hiya,

Sorry for dragging up and old thread but doing the same job on the same boiler and wanted to check the voltage!

Is the Hive output 24Vdc? My reading of their manual says 240v and don't want to blow the board on a brand new boiler!

Thanks

Ali

The single channel Hive receiver has 'volt free' contacts across terminals 1 and 3.
It is powered by 230V mains, but does not output any voltage, unlike the dual channel version.

Does it make any difference what ch way you put them in? 1 is common 3 is heat, after removing the ta link??

Thanks

Hiya,

Just trying to do this and wanted to check if it makes any difference which way around you put 1 and 3 into where the TA link was?

Thanks

Ali

No difference - as before, the Hive has 'volt free' contacts; basically it just connects the two terminals (1 & 3) together.
