Hive Mini Installation Help Please

Good evening,

I purchased a single channel Hive Mini to replace a ESI ESRTP4RF+ wireless thermostat on my sons combi boiler, below is a photo of the current wiring, the backplate of the existing receiver and the wiring diagram.

Can I use the existing backplate and just attached the hive receiver front or do I need to replace with the new hive mini backplate, if so which colour wires go to which terminals as the hive mini appears to use terminal 3 whereas the existing is currently using terminal 2 and also a linked live feed

No you would have to change the backplate.
The connections would all be the same except the black wire in termination 2 would go to terminal 3 on the new Hive backplate.
