Forum running slowly and pages not loading

As per the title. Is any one else having trouble with slow running on Safari and a "pages not loading" message on Firefox

I am having the same problem with some but not all sites,

BT mail is one of the sites that are slow.

BT mail is OK for me just this forum as far as I can tell.

Same problem several sites. Firefox posted an apology for a fault it was experiencing.

Chrome, windows 10, broadband via Starlink (am in the pub)- no problems for me.

It might be useful if people mention which ISP they are using.

If I PING this site I see that response times range from 38ms to 56ms, the Time To Live is 57ms. By way of a contrast, the TTL for Google is 114ms (with response times of 33-36ms).

A bit above my pay grade, but it could well be a server issue with some users, possibly, exceeding the TTL.

Sometimes i wonder if the weather plays a role in slow speeds...probably coincidence, but last weeks low pressure aand foggy mornings put a dampener on my connection.

I'm with BT and the problem continues. Can the Mods do anything about it or do they even know there is a problem, as this is the only site I am having problems with. On firefox when you get the message "page not loading" after a little time, then click reload or refresh then the page you have selected opens immediately. Also having problems posting replies or saving replies that have been editted.

I am still not having any problems- sorry, it doesn't help you.

It's almost as slow as the speed the mods take to move a thread. The idiots.

I wouldn't call them idiots but it would be nice to see them offering up potential solutions for those of you whom are having problems.

Thanks mods, all working fine again now. As info for others I clicked the report button and asked for help. Speedy resolution.
