Hi all

I am replacing my current two way switch with a chrome two way switch. Could someone please confirm where the wires go in the new socket?

In the picture below, the terminals for the colours are:

Yelllow dots - common
Blue dot - 1 way
Black cable with grey sleeve - 1 way

Yes but you will need an earth wire also.

If there are no earth conductors in your lighting circuit wiring ,you can't fit metal switchplates that must be earthed,nor can you fit light fittings that require earthing. However ,Some light fittings are double insulated ( class 2) which do not require earthing and can be fitted.
