Wouldn't it be cheaper in the long run though to just increase the gas storage capacity?That doesn't sound bad for supplying 30m households.

It's all a mighty mess one way or another.I've just been reading that new sites have been explored, but they claim it's not economically viable. Maybe we just don't have the right geology?
