I didn’t need to get my passport stamped. Gave me a couple of extra minutes to wait in the departure lounge.

Trick is, buy them with the longest date (from the back of the shelf) and eat them before the 'use by' date. It’s not hard, I’ve been doing it since I started buying my own shopping over 40 years ago. There’s nothing I buy in my weekly shop that will be out of date before I’ve eaten it.

Prices - that’s called inflation and all countries suffer with that. Dates? Can you give me some examples how this date thing affects you personally?

This is literally all I have left in my fridge from last weeks shopping that has a 'use by' date on it. This weeks food shop will be done tomorrow.

He took advantage of freedom of movement...

A freedom that he has denied his children and their children and so on...

Plus now should they wish to buy a villa in Spain like he did, they would find they would have to pay a 100% tax on it...

He does it all the time. Try to talk about his in reply and he’s straight on to the mods having a scream up to get the post removed and the poster locked out of the thread. The squeaky wheel gets the oil…..

I said "they don’t" not "they won’t". Funny thing parents and kids - I seem to remember one poster on here saying he was leaving the country and taking his medically qualified kids with him. I don’t think he said they had decided anything….
