Noticed some damp in the corner of our living room, and the culprit seems to be some blown render on the exterior wall of the house, as this is directly outside where the damp is:

There are two steps up in to the house so floor level inside the house is 300mm above the exterior ground in the photo.

Can the render be patched, and if so what product(s) could I use?

All advice and suggestions greatly appreciated
 
Water from that downpipe eroding the foundation and causing damp.
You need a drain there or a aco gully to take water away.

The water will go down those cracks and concrete joints into the soil

Thanks, in that case would filling the cracks between the concrete slab to the front of the house and the house itself help?
