Afternoon,

I’ve got a small internal wall to plaster. The plaster had blown so I ordered my materials, took the radiator off, started knocking the plaster off and realised it’s the only wall in my house which seems to be sand and cement instead of plasterboard.

Can I dot and dab plasterboard on to sand and cement or is that asking for trouble? Am I best taking it down to brick?

If its solid then dot and dab over. Leave sand and cement on.
I assume its a cavity wall with dpc

Great cheers.

Yes it’s a cavity wall and it has DPC. It’s the wall between the kitchen and the dining room.
