I'm not getting water coming out of my shower. The lights are on and there is water to the bathroom taps. Any suggestions?
Gonna need a bit more info on the shower. A pic might help.

Usually, unless not enough voltage on supply?Failed solenoid in the shower?
I think it's going to have to be a new shower; not worth repairing, even though just over a year old.Failed solenoid in the shower?

Solenoid is a heck of a lot cheaper than a new shower.I think it's going to have to be a new shower; not worth repairing, even though just over a year old.
fair point but replacing the solenoid might invalidate the warrantySolenoid is a heck of a lot cheaper than a new shower.

So are you making a claim under the warranty? If not, then why bother about invalidating the warranty if fitting new?fair point but replacing the solenoid might invalidate the warranty

I don't know if your shower has one but it's worth checking the filter first.Usually, unless not enough voltage on supply?
decided to see if I can wangle anything from the 2 year warranty. Who would be responsible for the fitting charge?So are you making a claim under the warranty? If not, then why bother about invalidating the warranty if fitting new?
not sure if there is a filter. don't think there are any isolating valves. I'm not a techy person; better leave it to the experts. not sure if I'm allowed to touch the electrics in a rental property anyway; I know I can't touch the gas.I don't know if your shower has one but it's worth checking the filter first.
Low flow can also trip the thermal trip. Any isolating valves feeding the shower?
Before installing a new solenoid, check if the shower is receiving the correct voltage, then measure the resistance of the solenoid valve, if it's ol or a high resistance then it's given up.
good point; didn't think of that.Have you tested with the hose detached.
It could be a clapsed rubber hose

Ask the landlord to do something about it.not sure if there is a filter. don't think there are any isolating valves. I'm not a techy person; better leave it to the experts. not sure if I'm allowed to touch the electrics in a rental property anyway;
