shower not working

Gonna need a bit more info on the shower. A pic might help.

Usually, unless not enough voltage on supply?
I don't know if your shower has one but it's worth checking the filter first.

Low flow can also trip the thermal trip. Any isolating valves feeding the shower?

Before installing a new solenoid, check if the shower is receiving the correct voltage, then measure the resistance of the solenoid valve, if it's ol or a high resistance then it's given up.

not sure if there is a filter. don't think there are any isolating valves. I'm not a techy person; better leave it to the experts. not sure if I'm allowed to touch the electrics in a rental property anyway; I know I can't touch the gas.
