I was originally "not allowed" to commentate on football matches as I knew FA (see what I did there?) about football.
But I fought back verbally and said I had just as much right as anybody to make comment on anything I was watching.
I told the people complaining that they were not actors but they complained about people on the telly doing "shoite acting". Soon shut them up.

BTW, the bar above which it was deemed I knew something about football was "Can you name 10 footballers?".

This was set by both Mrs S and My eldest son (when he was around 14). It was quite funny him checking with Mrs S if Ian Rush was a footballer.....

Now who knows more about football, laddie??

I have never seen the football hype, I like watching England and the world cup, that's it though. I probably know even less about cooking. The wife has even stopped ringing me to put the oven on for her when she is on her way home. Last time I did, I only turned the oven light on.
