I got the impression when we were discussing trans rights the other week, that most posters on here were supportive of the LG bit of LGBTQ+, and it was the TQ+ part which many have a problem with.
Anyway, I have just been reading that Republicans legislators in states across the USA are bringing in laws which will discriminate against people in same sex marriages. The aim is to get a case before the Supreme Court in the hope that they will overturn their ruling from 2015 which made same sex marriages legal everywhere in the USA. If they win, then individual states will have control over the issue again. In the same way the overturning of the Roe v Wade case on abortion rights gave that power back to individual states.
