I'll put my pennyworth in. It's not just immigration, although it certainly doesn't help, but it the population growth in this country. I say we only have a housing 'crisis' because the UK (and the planet) has a Population crisis. At some point TPTB will have to recognise that fact and do something about reducing the human population of the planet. That includes the religious leaders as well as the politicians.

Worryingly Trumpf has said that friends are worse than foes because friends advantage of you, which suggests that we are seen as one of Europes freeloaders. Perhaps we should have left Europe not the EU.

I think you will find net immigration was quite steady until Blair took office. Then it went up substantially. Remember the bs they spouted at the time - "diversity is our strength", "diversity enriches us", blah, blah, blah.

Can't say that the Tories have been any less deceitful or trecherous though. Maybe even worse.
