The best cooking thread

It's for my son's room.

I don't like vertical, as I've found they sway in even the slightest breeze, far more than horizontal slats do.
Have you seen the blinds built into double glazing

Boom all done. On my way home. A few hundred quid to go towards my blinds I suppose.

Over to the digging team to clear up. Ker-ching money, money, money. Always Sunday.

I have volunteered to do his call-outs all next week as he will be on the sick. Ker-Ching.

Back on topic. Had this last night. Sausages, mash, spring greens, fried onions, Yorkshire pudding, lashings of gravy and because Mrs Mottie has recently been diagnosed as coeliac, instead of using ready mixed mustard (contains gluten), I made it fresh with mustard powder. Blows yer socks off!

Had my first bacon sarnie in over a year for lunch yesterday.
No tummy rumbles, so i'll attempt a bacon n' egg version today.
Fingers crossed...:cautious:

If you want a real treat, make your bacon (and egg) sandwich, don’t cut it in half yet, pop it back in the frying pan and lightly fry both sides in the bacon fat infused oil. Delicious. (y)

A bit o' butter is always a good idea but not too much lest the bread become soggy. Sometimes toasted; occasionally with a swipe of HP on one slice to pep it up.
