Hi

Inline fans... Do the ones with led in the end vent need the led part to be wired to a lighting circuit or does the light take the power from the fan wiring.

It looks like you will need to run the same cable that feeds the fan to the lighting transformer.

You could do either. Usually the power feed for the fan is separate to the power feed for the light.
The TLC link shows them both being powered from the light switched live. But you don’t have to.
