That is remarkable when you consider Israel has dropped 70,000 tonnes of explosive on Gaza since October 7th 2023 .
All that explosive landed in an area smaller than the Isle of Wight and managed to kill mostly terrorists, these so called smart bombs really are smart.

2-1 means 2 civilians per 1 combatant, nobody other than you has suggested the opposite., If you check stats on other wars that's not bad, lower than some. The Iraq and Kosovo wars are good starting points for your research.

I agree with that if it meant the end of the bombing campaign.
A more surgical approach could reduce civilian casualties, although that could come at the cost of a higher casualty rate among the Israeli defence force.
Probably safer at the moment to bomb the **** out civilian and terrorist alike.
