Well that's good news.

I wonder why it took years.

Notchy will be around in a bit blaming his best pal Trump!!

Most unlikely.

Trump was not in power in the UK during the years when the UK government dragged its heels.

So that's companies in the UK, if they are outside the UK then its business as normal? :) :)

Ban ebay then. That has become stupid. They routinely have listings which are intended to confuse.

And every retailer that lowers the price of out of stock items to trick you into buying what they do have, thinking it’s equally as good value.

Argos do this all the time.

How will Ryanair cope with the concept of not being allowed to offer pints of beer for a penny, with an upgrade to a glass to hold it in, 3 pages later, for £27?!

There was a US businessman who famously said it would be legitimate in principle to charge people for breathing air. So as long as there no hidden costs…

Hampered by Conservative governments with no regard to consumer protection.
So there we have it. It was those rotten Tories that hampered it.

At least it’s been fixed by the honest Labour Party. The party of the people. You know, the party that said they would not raise taxes for 'working people' but lowered NI thresholds for businesses instead which forced them to do the dirty by reducing wage rises, releasing employees and putting a hold on recruitment which indirectly affects workers. Well done Labour.

At least with hidden charges, the consumer had the option to decline the transaction when faced with the final amount at the checkout.
