Repair to kitchen worktop?

Anyone recommend anything I can use to repair or smooth over some dints into kitchen work top please that I made accidently.

Buy a chopping board and place it over the damage.
Oh and then use it for chopping

Cutout any loose material , fill with two part car filler( after masking off each section of damage) sand back smooth and use black and white permanent pens to patch colours.

Thanks. Is it waterproof so to stop any water getting in? Or anything like this which is waterproof I can rub on?

A water-soluble finish for a bar top would deserve the Misleading Product Name of the Year award.

I often use acrylic paints in 2 pack filler to change the colour. Far from perfect though.

It is kinda waterproof, but it will still allow a tiny, tiny amount of water to permeate through.
