Tight space for magnaclean pipework

Hi All,

Bought a house a little over a year ago and after draining out the central heating system recently and seeing the color of the water I'm looking to add a magnaclean filter to protect the boiler.

The main issue I have is that when the house was built and plumbed about 15 years ago there wasnt really much space left on the return to the boiler.
Its sealed system with an oil boiler and the layout is an S plan with three zones for hot water and upstairs and downstairs CH.
All of the returns meet pretty much at ground level in the utility room and then run horizontally into the boiler leaving a bit of potential space after the expansion vessel. The return pipe is about 50mm off the ground at this point though so its far too low to allow space to fit the magnaclean.

I'm simplifying things slightly but for the most part the current pipe layout looks like this.

As mentioned, I have a bit of room before the boiler where I'm thinking I could squeeze in the magnaclean if I create a bit of a hump in the pipework.
Something like this...

My main concern with doing this is that the hump in the pipework could trap air where it rises to accommodate the filter.
Obviously I could add an AAV but the other concern with doing that is its very close to the suction side of the pump and it could end up pulling air into the system.

Really just looking for a bit of advice from anyone who may have been in a similar position previously to see if this is either a good or a completely terrible idea

There's a manual air vent on the Magnaclean, used when you clean/refill it. I think that layout will be OK.

Thanks, oldbuffer. Yeah, I had considered that Id need to add a manual vent there to avoid airlocks while refilling the system.
More wondering if this sort of layout is going to be more trouble than its actually worth where I'm going to need to regularly blead air/gasses out of this point of the pipework...

No, don't currently have air build up in the system so ideally adding a section like this wouldn't cause issues then.
I wasnt sure, so just wanted to gauge if introducing a rise in the pipe work like this was a bit of a silly idea in the first place and could lead to a scenario where I may need to bleed it occasionally due to any potential air build up.
